Last night of our holiday in Salisbury and we opted for Turkish. We'd walked past Myhosh a few times as we were staying just around the corner and honestly were not expecting too much. Boy were we absolutely delightfully surprised! The decor is simple and stylish, and the service and food were absolutely top notch. I have not had Turkish food as delicious as this before. Our party of 4 opted for the Cold and the Hot Meze, an order of Tiger Prawns and also Lamb Ribs. I regret that I have only the one stomach because every single dish was superb and we all ate till we were full, and wished we could eat more. Our waiter, Ayaz, was equal to the food - he was funny, friendly and informative. The final icing on the cake as it were: a truly heavenly Baklava to round off the meal. All in all, our dinner was absolutely perfect and if we are ever in these parts again, we will surely drop by. ~ John C

We visited Myhosh after arriving in Salisbury fairly late in the evening and seeing the positive reviews for this restaurant. It was really close to where we’re staying so decided to head round. The member of staff who greeted us straight away was funny and welcoming. We sat down and were brought fresh water and menus over immediately. The menu is full of tasty authentic Turkish dishes- my personal favourite was the Hummus Kavurma. The diced lamb in this dish was amazing! All the food came prompt and piping hot. We even received a complementary side dip and small taster of baklava for dessert. This was incredible and clearly homemade. Would highly recommend giving this place a visit! ~ Katie C

For a first time experiencing Turkish cuisine we could not have been more pleased. The waiter and chef were amazing. The ambiance was enhanced by middle eastern music and the layout was practical and not fancy. The food was perfectly prepared and presented. We enjoyed fresh hummus with Turkish flat bread and Borek with sweet chili sauce along with an excellent bottle of Turkish Red wine. Main courses were a chicken Kofte and a mix of Lamb and Chicken shish and Adana kebab. Simply outstanding! We finished the meal with a baklava with cream. Please if you find yourself in town and unsure of your dinner plans find your way here, you will not leave disappointed! ~ John &

I tried this restaurant yesterday with a colleague. I can't understand why there were so many empty tables because we ate really good food! I had a chicken dish from the BBQ section (which came with rice and salad as side), my colleague ordered falafel and the soup of the day. Everything was delicious. We hoped to order a dessert, but there was a problem with the menu or something, so they just offered us two pieces of baklava for free. Very kind! Maybe the location can be improved, it's a bit plain, with few elements that look Turkish. But everything is clean and the waiters are kind and helpful. ~ Federico S

DELICIOUS healthy food!! All made fresh and homemade! We ordered daily soup - lentil - it was so flavorful! Stuffed Vine Leaves- the best I have ever had! Tarator - very interesting flavor on the homemade bread they serve with it, healthy ingredients! Humus Kavurma and Beetroot and yogurt dip SO flavorful!!! Chicken Kofte with rice and couscous was fabulous! Baklava is incredible!! I wish we lived closer, we would be regulars😋!!! Amaz the waiter is so friendly and does a great job! We visited this restaurant on the way to Swanage. We must say that the food was delicious. All fresh, perfectly seasoned. Lovely soup, salad, chicken casserole.. So tasty. Our waiter Ayaz served us with great manner. The Baklava was the best I've ever had! Definiately a fresh homemade hot baklava. We are full, portions are big enough. Nice decoration and soft music plays in the background. We would definitely recommend this place and will come back one day 😊 thank you for great service. ~ Anabella D

Went last night with my family and had a thoroughly wonderful experience, we were looked after so well and the food was delicious and seemed to never end. The service was so attentive and I don't think I'm doing them justice by using the word service, at this level it's genuine care. They have recently had a remodel and the restaurant looks fresh and the display kitchen is a lovely thing to see, everyone working there seems so happy to be there and more than happy to help. ~ Paul D

Amazing food, great service and just a really good experience overall. We’re visiting from London, but if I lived closer, I’d be coming here regularly. The restaurant itself has a great ambiance, and the food was truly excellent. There was lots of choice on the menu and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and wonderful. Whenever we stay on a city break, we look for a Turkish restaurant, usually finding a good venue, but occasionally we happen across an exceptionally good one. Yakamoz in York and Gem in Norwich were the best we've visited over the years. Myhosh is in the same bracket, authentic, reasonably priced and with a wonderful, friendly and intimate atmosphere. The chef (and owner) treats everyone like a long lost pal, with his staff also adding to the welcome. The food is fabulous, with the grilled meats, tender and succulent, with such wonderful flavour. My go to starter is the liver..... a true test of quality, it was delicious, wonderfully seasoned and rich in herbs. The cold meze was all obviously hand prepared and home made, with the hummus etc plentiful..... oh the bread!!! All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant, just a short walk from town centre.... there are a few tempting restaurants on the same street, but try to resist the temptations on offer and go to Myhosh, it is fabulous. Any Turkish restaurant that can match Yakamoz in York is the highest praise I can give. ~ Phil H

What an absolute gem of a place, well worth a trip for anyone that wants some truly tasty food. Genuinely some of the best food I've ever had, both me and my wife loved every thing we had. Finished off with the most amazing baclava, all staff were very attentive. We took our working cocker with us and this was a big deciding factor on eating here, and we were made to feel very welcome so thank you. We will definitely be eating here again ~ David F

Lovely food, very recommended! We know next to nothing about Turkish cuisine, but the cold mezze was perfect to share (and all vegetarian!). The salads tasted super fresh, quality ingredients, and big too. There are enough vegetarian options to be comfortable. The meat was of great quality too - the lamb with yogurt was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and neat, not too loud, and the service is great. Come hungry, because portions are big! :) ~ Eline V

After a 5 hour trip from up north a friend and I were turned away from an empty Premier inn restaurant as they were too busy!? Although this was a blessing in disguise as a we headed out and found this gem. We were made extremely welcome from the minute we walked in and the food was outstanding, tasty and plenty of it! Our delicious meal was full of flavours, including a succulent grill. Enjoyed the cold mezze as well, particularly with the freshly baked flatbread. Great variety of food, there is something there for everyone. All of it was served by a friendly, welcoming, and hospital staff team. The restaurant has a beautiful, elegant aesthetic with Turkish décor and ornaments. ~ Nadia G

The venue is very nice in terms of design, the owner of the venue, Mr. Kadir, is very professional and has a full Turkish tradesman profile👏🏻👌. We went with two family, helpful and generous families, we were very pleased and now we will make a plan to go with our group of friends, everything was very delicious. We had a warm welcome into the restaurant and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our visit. We ordered the chicken wings, lamb ribs and lamb beyti. All of the food was delicious, fresh, well presented, and served quickly. We were given complimentary hummus, with bread, and some tasty baklava. This was a very authentic, and enjoyable, experience. My family and I traveled from Gloucestershire specifically to MYHOSH Restaurant to sample Turkish cuisine. The food and appetizers were incredibly delicious, and the cleanliness and service were outstanding. We were extremely happy, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I don’t often leave feedback for the places I eat out — mostly because I’m a fairly decent cook myself, and I don’t like to say negative things about food someone has put effort into preparing. But this experience was truly special. My friend and I had planned to eat elsewhere, but when we arrived, the place was closed. I said, “Everything in life happens for a reason,” and a few minutes later we found ourselves at Myhosh. Gosh, wasn’t I right! From the moment we walked in, the service was fantastic. The waiting staff were attentive yet unobtrusive — the perfect balance. We were even treated to a complimentary yogurt salad and bread while waiting for our starters, and later a piece of delicious baklava for dessert. The food was exquisite — beautifully textured, seasoned to perfection, and generously portioned (we only wished our tummies were a little bigger to fit it all in!). Everything was fresh, vibrant, and presented in a wonderfully aesthetic way. The atmosphere was equally delightful: lovely background music, people chatting and laughing, and an overall sense of warmth. Both the kitchen and waiting staff were attentive and genuinely welcoming. I truly believe we’ve just found our new favourite place to eat out. ~ Ewa R

A very cozy place with a true Turkish atmosphere. Everything — from the decor to the way the food is served — is done with care. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the grilled meats and fresh flatbread were especially good. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely a place you want to come back to. ~ Den

Our server Ayaz was fantastic, he was kind, knowledgeable and made some excellent recommendations. An everyday lunch out with the girls became a real experience when we tried this place and certainly one we will be repeating regularly, not only because Ayaz was brilliant, but the food was outstanding!! ~ Rachel V

Loved it! Host was so friendly and welcoming. The service was first class and the food very authentic and very high quality - great to watch the live food prep also.
